This is a full-scale communications exercise based on a scenario involving a severe weather event that produces an excess of rain that has begun to swell city creeks.
This exercise is to evaluate CCC capabilities to observe, document, and report creek conditions and neighborhood flooding risks to the Cupertino EOC. CARES will provide field-based observations and voice communications, while CERT home responders will supplement with local situational awareness using QuickCapture.
This exercise has been approved as a Credential Event.
