This is a two-day event. This entry is for Sunday, July 9. If you want to sign up for Saturday, go here. Evaluations may be offered both days. If you request an evaluation, be sure to read the note at the end of this description. Evaluations are dependent on the availability of evaluators.
Note: We are planning for this to be a Credential Credit event. We are working on the paperwork but it hasn't been signed yet.
Hams are needed to support the Arts & Wine Festival in Los Altos. There will be two shifts available, an AM shift and a PM shift. Hams will provide additional eyes and ears for both the police department and the event organizer.
The AM shift will run from 9:30 to 2:00 PM. The PM shift will run from 1:30 PM to 6:00 PM.
Note: With the help of the County ARES/RACES group we are offering evaluations in the morning for N3 and F3. Shadow evaluations will not be available. If you request an eval, be aware that the message portion of the evaluation will happen after your shift. You will be given a short break (~30 minutes), then the message passing will be performed. This means your shift, if you are being evaluated, will run longer than what is published here. Plan on an extra 1 1/2 to 2 hours.
The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
