County Scenario
The county will staff the County EOC and provide communcations to/from participating cities. The following nets will be staffed and operational: Message Net, Packet Net, Command Net, EOC-EOC Net, and Resource Net only during time noted below.
In addition the county will be conducting both field practice, packet practice, and evaluation sessions (F3, F2, P3, P2, N3, N3) in the parking lot.
Additional City Participation and Scenario
Each jurisdiction will devise a scenario that best serves its local needs. The county EOC plays a supporting and coordinating role, requesting status and receiving reports from each jurisdiction. For ideas and minimum criteria, see the Drill Instructions for ECs.
Each city should create an event in the Activities Database so their members can sign-up for your event and receive credit for participation.

- Practice intra-city communications for local data gathering and reporting.
- Practice city to county communications for consolidated info exchanged with the Op Area.
- Provide opportunities for F3, F2, N3, N2, and P2 Credential Evaluations. These will be conducted in the Sheriff’s Office parking lot unless instructed otherwise by your evaluator.

SCCo EOC Participant and Parking Lot Schedule:
- 08:00 - Resource Net Opens for travel to Sheriff’s Office
- 08:50 - All travelers to the Sheriff’s Office have arrived.
- 09:00 - Briefing (Be sure to arrive earlier to account for parking, getting into the building, and checking in)
- 09:30 - Station setup and familiarization
- 10:00 - 12:00 - Drill Activities
- 12:00 - 13:00 - Clean-up and Debrief.
- 12:00 - As needed - Knowledge and Equipment Checks for those being evaluated.
For those participating in evaluations or practice sessions: meet in the parking lot across the street from the Sheriff’s Office, 55 W Younger Ave., San Jose. Park under the solar panels leaving at least one parking space between you and other vehciles. An ICS-205 will be provided when you arrive. Do not come to the EOC unless instructed by your evaluator, all your work will be in the parking lot.

A different ICS-205 Communications Plan will be provided at the exercise for those taking part in evaluations and practice sessions.

If you have a MAC badge wear it. To gain access to the building, ring the bell to the right side of the double glass doors. A Sheriff’s Deputy will buzz you in and check your ID. Proceed to the window on the left side of the lobby and check-in with the Desk Officer. Your name will be on a list. You will be buzzed (a click more than a buzz) into the elevator lobby to your right. Take the elevator to the 4th floor, exit the elevator to the left and proceed to the EOC. Sign-in on the ICS-211 at the desk and then proceed down the hallway to the Radio Room and EOC.

F3, F2, N3, and N2, evaluations will take place in the parking lot. P2 eval will be in the EOC.
Everyone being evaluated must use the Resource Net for travel to the drill, others are encouraged to do so. There will not be a Resource Net for demobilization.
