Hams are needed to suport the Half Moon Bay Dream Machines event. The HMB Dream Machines is an annual event that demonstrates any and all things that qualify as a machine. There are shows, exhibits and demonstrations of all kinds. Ham support is needed for both days. You can work one day or both.
This year for the first time it is a two-day event - both Saturday April 28 and Sunday April 29. The Half Moon Bay ARES group supports the Pilots’ Association with a group of hams providing communications for a variety of tasks from shadowing organizers to parking plans through a net that cross monitors with the Sherriff’s Department who are there to provide event security.
The show runs from 9AM to 4PM. You will get into the event for free and there should be plenty of time to see the attractions.
