County-wide Communications Exercise - MAC F2 Eval |

Overal Event: This is a county-wide exercise focused on emergency communications. It is designed to provide participants with valuable in-field operating experience. It will include several fun and challenging assignments and probably even some competition (if we get sufficient staffing levels). Of course, standard County procedures will be used: resource net, ICS documentation, Performance Standard and Best Practices.
MAC F2 Eval Assignment: The F2 eval assignment is separate from the regular field operator assignment due to the need to set up a field station. F2 evaluees will set up a field station, including mobile radio, antenna, mast, power, etc. and communicate on two different nets simultaneously.
Info for Non-MACS: You must have successfully completed the MAC F1 evaluation before attempting the MAC F2 evaluation.
Info for MACs and MITs: Mutual Aid Communicators (MACs) and MACs in Training (MITs) will still receive the same challenging assignments as others, but you can also sign up for evaluations for MAC qualifications.
Sign-ups:. Click on each position name to read the requirements for each position before signing up. Then sign up for your preference of assignments. Attendees who arrive prior to 09:30 will have time to complete two assignments. For example, if you arrive at the start of the drill, you could perform both F2 eval and either Field Ops, Net Control or Packet Assignments. If you plan to stay for two assignments, please sign up for your two preferred assignments.
