Los Gatos will be holding its 69th Annual Children’s Christmas/Holidays Parade on Dec. 6th and we're looking for hams to pair with local CERTs to monitor the parade.
The primary comms will be GMRS, with ham as a backup; this will not be an accredited event for credential purposes.
We’ll supply all equipment (clipboards with parade information and a GMRS radio, although you’re welcome to bring your own if it’s capable of using the town’s GMRS channel 21 repeater). Please bring your own HT.
The morning briefing for volunteers is at 8AM; we're asked to be in position by 9AM. The parade typically starts at 11AM and should be done around 1PM.
