This will be a joint event between San Jose RACES and CERT.,
CERT members will staff fixed observation points around the park and operate two nets: 1) A GMRS voice net; and 2) a digital VARA-FM net.
RACES members will provide mobile communication support to event staff as shadows to key principals, as well as provide fixed field station communications to provide a bridge between security/police and event staff.
The following positions are available for this event. You can state your preference when you sign up for the event. The event coordinator will attempt to accommodate your request. Based on the event and its requirements, the event coordinator may move hams to positions other than those requested.
