This is an open event and non-SARES participants are welcome.
The drill involves contacting other stations using simplex radio frequencies. Each operator will exchange specified information including identifing which Sunnyvale Fire District you are operating from or, if not operating within Sunnyvale, your city. Participants are required to maintain an ICS-309 log containing the exchange information for each contact. The logs will be turned in at the end of the drill.
